Are You Ready for Some Football?

Tonight we can finally stop talking about deflated footballs. The NFL season kicks off tonight with defending Super Bowl champions, the New England Patriots, hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers. The NFL is officially back! I'll be among those cheering against Tom Brady tonight, but the Pats will probably still win. That's OK. My team plays Sunday in the oldest rivalry in pro football.

How about Packers vs Bears to kick off the season?! Green Bay heads to Chicago to take on the Bears. Chicago has a new head coach this season -- John Fox. Fox was successful in both Carolina and Denver, but the real question is: Can he turn around Jay Cutler? The Bears will go as far as Cutler can take them. The Packers are dealing with the loss of wide receiver Jordy Nelson. They resigned WR James Jones and still boast Randall Cobb and DeVante Adams at wideout. And, oh yeah, they have Aaron Rodgers. As long as the best quarterback in football is healthy, the Packers are contenders.
