Apparently Not All of Us Enjoy Family Holiday Parties

The holidays are a big time of year for spending time with family. But, according to a new survey, not all of us are too excited about that. 68% of us actually prefer that our family stay elsewhere when they come visit for the holidays. And, out of the people who are staying with family, 1/4 of them WISH they could stay at a hotel, but can't for whatever reason.

But it gets worse: Apparently 16% of people wish they could send a body-double to their holiday family events for them. Which makes me wonder: how terrible is your family that you wish you didn't have to spend the most wonderful time of the year with them?!

Although my family is a little bit nuts, I WILL be traveling home to Detroit to celebrate Christmas and Thanksgiving with them, and I will also be staying with them. Mainly because it's free, but also because I love them a little bit

But hey, even if your family is awful, the brightside is that there's always alcohol. I'm pretty sure it was invented specifically for that reason.
