When I saw her perform the National Anthem before tonight's NBA Finals game, I immediately had to know more about the little girl named Marlana VanHoose. I quickly found out she's not a little girl at all.

Marlana is 19 and is blind and suffers from cerebral palsy. She was blind at birth, but it would be several years before the palsy was diagnosed. Despite it all at age 10, while cheerleading, she discovered her voice. And what a voice it is. She's sang at several Kentucky women's basketball games as well as Cleveland Cavaliers games in the past. In all the games, the home team has never lost. However, the real winner here is Marlana VanHoose.
