A number of contemporary country stars have mementos from their career on display at the Country Music Hall of Fame's latest exhibit, American Currents (The Music of 2016) including Maren Morris, Kelsea Ballerini, Florida Georgia Line, William Michael Morgan, Jon Pardi and more.

The new exhibit also features items from legends of the genre including Reba McEntire, Randy Travis and Tammy Wynette.

Though still in the early years of their careers, many of these contemporary stars already have special tokens they've collected that are included in the museum exhibit. Outfits worn by Jason Aldean on the cover of his 2016 album They Don't Know and Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley of FGL from their "May We All" music video are on display, along with handwritten lyrics from Miranda Lambert to the song "Keeper of the Flame" that is featured on her chart-topping album The Weight of These Wings. The gorgeous yellow gown Dolly Parton wore at the 50th annual CMA Awards when she accepted the Willie Nelson Lifetime Achievement Award is also included in the modern-day showcase. "To bear a proper testament to music history, we must bear testament to the present, because history is born in the now," CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Kyle Young says about the exhibit in Nashville (quote via the Boot). "This is the reason for our new exhibition, American Currents."

American Currents is on display now through March of 2018.
