Fall has been relatively warm in Eastern Iowa so far and it looks like the trend will continue.

Cedar Rapids has enjoyed nine days this month with high temperatures of at least 68 degrees and NOAA (National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration) is forecasting a good chance of above normal temperatures for all of Iowa in November. Normal precipitation is expected.

A wet start to the weekend is ahead, followed by beautiful weather and highs near 70 the first half of next week. I hope that November prediction holds too. Every warm day we can get makes me feel that much closer to spring. That thought puts a smile on my face, and probably yours too.
