All parents know the struggle: you have plans and then, BOOM, your babysitter cancels. Well, what happens when those plans just happen to be final exam?

A Kentucky college professor is being praised after he helped out a student in a difficult situation. 28-year-old Monica Romero is a single mom of two children. She's also an Army ROTC student at the University of Louisville who recently moved to Kentucky after living in South Korea. She's back in school to finish her bachelor's degree so she can become an officer in the Army.

Monica arranged to have a babysitter for her kids the night of her military history exam, but, unfortunately, that fell through at the last second. She decided to take the advice of her friend/classmate Victoria Henry, and bring the kids to sit out in the hall during her exam. Like most moms, she was nervous. She told Buzzfeed, "I felt anxiety about it because I knew they weren’t going to sit still."

Sure enough, her son started trying to get her attention, so she went out into the hall to calm him down. Dr. Daniel Krebs, her professor, followed her. She said, "I thought he was going to ask me to leave,” but he did just the opposite. He said to her, "go take your test, I'll take care of this."

Victoria Henry shared a photo to Facebook of Dr. Krebs playing with Monica's kids that quickly went viral. She said, "I’m blown away by the amount of shares the post has gotten but I’m so grateful that such a kind and happy story is somewhat circling the internet now with so much negativity going on."

Here's the adorable photo:
