A New Coffee Place Has Opened at the Lindale Mall [PHOTOS]

A new coffee shop has finally opened up their kiosk at Lindale Mall in Cedar Rapids! Aurora Coffee Co. has officially made its debut at the mall, and it's the second location for the Eastern Iowa-based coffee company.

According to Aurora Coffee Co.'s website:

"During their first careers in the US Navy, owners Aurora and James Moes visited ports of call all over the world. Their first priority upon reaching land was to track down a great cup of coffee. Now, they’re bringing that enthusiasm and first-hand experience to Aurora Coffee Co. with cup after cup of the best coffee the world has to offer."

The new Aurora Coffee Co. kiosk is located right in the center of Lindale Mall where the fountain used to be. If you're bummed about the missing fountain, Kerry Sanders, the General Manager of Lindale Mall, told CBS 2 that they are working on getting a waterfall feature behind the kiosk.

The new shop is open Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It is currently the only coffee shop in the mall, and Sanders says that it's "something that we’ve been missing for a long time." 

Aurora Coffee Co. is also located 905 29th Ave. in Marion, in case you've ever on that side of town. Their website states that they offer a 10% discount for teachers and veterans, and free drip coffee for police officers.
