A Male Dog Named Sparkle? He'll Steal Your Heart!

Naming a dog or any pet can be a difficult task. Do you go with a typical dog name like Spot or Duke? Do you go with a traditional 'human' name like Larry or Sophie? In many cases, we like to let our kids name the dog. In our family, my son Chase named our dog 'Rigby' after a cartoon character. Our 'Furry Friday' dog this week was named by a child. Who else would name a male dog 'Sparkle'! Sparkle is a pointer mix and is around 9 years old. You'd never know that he is an older dog though. He is full of life and energy and is also one of the most well-behaved dogs we've ever had in the studio! He loves snuggling on the couch and hanging out. He doesn't get along with cats and might do best if he is the only dog in the home.
