As we move closer and closer to the Big Ten Championship Game Saturday night, it's interesting to look back on Iowa Football. Four months ago the "so-called" football experts had Iowa picked to go 6-6 this season.

The "experts" stated the following as problems for Iowa in 2015...

On Offense, Iowa loses their starting quarterback, their leading rusher, and their top offensive lineman from 2014.
On Defense, three of the top four tacklers are gone and we see the defense slipping.
Turnovers projection: The Hawks had terrible luck with fumbles last year, with a -12 margin. In Beathard's small sample of playing time from last year, he seemed interception-prone. Prediction to have more interceptions than Rudock's 5 picks in 2014.
For recruiting, Iowa ranks 59th. That's another problem Ferentz has. Iowa's recruiting has been in the doldrums for years. The rare time Iowa gets a top 25 class they have a great team a few years later. But it's been a while. This year's class is clearly in the bottom half of the conference once again.
The Hawks have a 2/3rd's chance of going to a bowl game.

Sure glad the "so-called experts" don't know what they're talking about.

GO HAWKS!!!
