4 Iowans Qualify for Tonight’s NASCAR Sprint Cup Race

Joey Logano grabbed the pole position for tonight's Toyota Owners 400 from Richmond International Speedway. 4 Iowa Drivers attempted and qualified for tonight's race.

Leading the way for the Iowa Drivers is Brett Moffitt from Grimes, IA. Moffitt will start from the 14th position driving the #55 Aaron’s Dream Machine Toyota.

Cedar Rapids native Landon Cassill qualified 19th. Look for him in the #40 Newtown Building Supplies Chevy.

Another Cedar Rapids native is making his first start of the season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup. Joey Gase qualified 35th. Joey's driving the #32 Keen Parts/Donate Life Ford.

And Des Moines, IA native Michael Annett didn't get the qualifying run he wanted, but is in the show. Michael will start 38th in the #46 Pilot/Flying J Chevy.

The race is tonight at 6PM on Fox. Weather will be an issue with rain in the forecast this afternoon into this evening at Richmond, VA.
