26 Under Age Drinking Tickets Issued At Dubuque Bar

Here in Iowa, a person must be at least 21 years of age to consume alcoholic beverages. This has been the state law for many years and I'm guessing it won't be changing anytime soon.

Someone should remind the owner of bar in Dubuque of this law. According to KWWL, "More than two-dozen people were arrested at Gin Ricky's for underage drinking early Friday morning."

Gin Rickey's is located at 1447 Central Avenue. According to the KWWL story and online courts records, 26 people were arrested on charges of Possession of Alcohol under the legal age and being in the bar after 9:00 p.m.

The story also indicated a 26-year-old man was arrested on a Public Intoxication charge. This is a developing story, and we will continue to provide updates as soon as we learn more details.
