Our second and final day of KHAK’s annual Radiothon for Children’s Miracle Network is underway. Families shared many more stories with us Friday morning and here they are:

Adam shared his family's story which, unfortunately, has two different facets because two of his children have been treated at the hospital.

One of the most amazing stories we've ever heard was told by Janice Friday morning. Her son, Isaac, had bone marrow that was 98 percent cancer when he was admitted to the University of Iowa Children's Hospital. He was only four at the time and wasn't expected to survive. He not only survived, he's now doing great.

One of our favorite people from all our years of doing the radiothon is a young girl who needed a heart transplant. Leilani got the heart transplant she needed but her health struggles continued. Her mom Carissa shared her very difficult story with us Friday morning. HERE is more on Leilani's journey to heaven.

You can donate to the Radiothon at 800-456-2772 or online, at the link below. Thank you for helping us make a difference for these families and so many more!
