Keith Urban and Garth Brooks are among country music’s biggest stars nominated for 2017 American Music Awards. Carrie Underwood, Maren Morris and Sam Hunt are also up for AMAs in country music categories.

Brooks is the only country artist in an all-genre category. He’s up against Coldplay and U2 in the Tour of the Year category. From there Urban is the most-nominated country artist, gathering nominations in the Favorite Male Artist, Favorite Country Album and Favorite Country Song (“Blue Ain’t Your Color”) categories.

Hunt is up for two awards, while Jason Aldean, Florida Georgia Line and Chris Stapleton are up in unique country categories. Jon Pardi's "Dirt on My Boots" and Hunt's "Body Like a Backroad" join Urban's song in the country song category. Miranda Lambert joins Morris and Underwood in the Female Vocalist of the Year category.
