The 2015 Country Music Hall of Fame class is led by a group that has sold more than 41 million albums during their career.

The Oak Ridge Boys first hit the top of the country music chart in 1978 with "I'll Be True to You." The group has had a hand in other careers as well, singing harmonies for Johnny Cash, and several others. They're best remembered for two early 80's songs... "Elvira" and "Bobbie Sue"... though they've hit the top of the charts many times. They continue to tour today and are next scheduled to be in Iowa on September 14th at the Clay County Fair in Spencer.

Another inductee is the late Grady Martin. He was a guitar player who had already hit the road by age 20 and was also part of the Grand Ole Opry's house band at that time.

The final inductee is Jim Ed Brown (below) and The Browns. Jim and his sisters sang together in the 50's and early 60's before Jim's sisters retired to raise families. Jim's solo career blossomed from there. He's best remembered for "Pop a Top," which Alan Jackson would cover years later, again taking it to the top of the charts.

Congrats to this year's inductees who will officially be added to the hall later this year!
