Linn County Special Olympics Polar Plunge

Brain and Steele hosted the 2014 Special Olympics Polar Plunge today at Pleasant Creek State Park in Palo.  Sun and very little wind made for great plunging weather.  However, the water temperature was estimated to be just over the freezing mark, with the ice shelf right behind safety personnel in the lake.
