A 20-year-old man, with a fugitive minor inside his vehicle, is facing five different charges following a high speed chase Saturday night after the Back Porch Revival concert in Iowa City.

According to the criminal complaint, police tried to stop Dylan Sockness, of Wisconsin. Instead, he fled at speeds up to 100 mph, in a 25 mph zone. He also ran into road closed signs close to the stadium and nearly hit traffic control workers. The vehicle he was driving crashed into a home and he and his passenger attempted to run, but were caught. Police also used a Taser on Sockness.

According to KWWL, his passenger was a 16-year-old female from Wisconsin who is a runaway and had multiple felony warrants for her arrest.

According to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office, Sockness faces five charges:

  • Reckless Driving
  • Interference with Official Acts
  • Eluding
  • Child Endangerement-Bodily Injury
  • Criminal Mischief-1st Degree
