We're one week away from Christmas. Here in Eastern Iowa, chances are at a "slim to none" chance at having a white Christmas. Even though temperatures will cool for Friday, the temperatures will rise over the weekend and stay in the 40's for highs and overnight lows in the 30's.

With no snow for December, the talk is we'll get blasted in January. Well, according to the National Weather Service outlook for January, our El Nino pattern is expected to continue with above normal temperatures.

The Calendar says winter starts on December 22nd, not sure we're going to see much winter this season.
